Dear Esteemed Parents,

We thank the Almighty God for giving our children good report in the course of the summer holiday. We believe that He that began this good work will make it glorious throughout the period of the extended holiday due to the outbreak of Ebola virus.

We also appreciate you for your support and understanding that led to the successful closing of the third term despite the curfew imposed on the state as a result of the bomb blast.

We are confident that though darkness may cover the earth with diverse mishaps the light of God will shield us and turn it to a lifting up for us His servants.

1. RESUMPTION FOR THE 2014/2015 ACADEMIC SESSION

The school will now resume on Monday 29th September, 2014 for the returning classes, while JSS1 resumes on Thursday 2nd October, 2014. checking in starts from 8-5pm on these days.

Meanwhile, our health workers are being sent to join the state on the ongoing training on how to curtail the spread of this virus. This will enable us to put everything in place to make sure that such epidemic does not come in our midst.

Besides, the school environment is being sanitized both spiritually and health wise to make it Ebola and disease free environment.

3. SETTLEMENT OF BILLS:

Please ensure that all the fees stated in the bill given to your child are paid into the appropriate account on or before the resumption date.

·        All payments should be made in the designated bank, using the child’s name as ‘Payee’.

·        Each child is supposed to have a minimum of ₦5,000.00 in his/her pocket money account

·        No student would be allowed into the school without full settlement of outstanding fees.

The account office will be operational from 10-1:30 pm daily for parents to submit their tellers for receipts.

·        JSS3 BECE RESULT

The results for NECO BECE result is out and ready for collection. Parents are to collect the result from the school as from the day of resumption.

·        IMPORTANT HEALTH MEASURES

To guard against any infection, parents are to provide sanitizers to their children when they resume. Besides, children are to be taught personal hygiene like not sharing things with others and regular washing of hands. The school is making efforts to provide hand washers where students can readily wash their hands.

·        PROJECTS AND HOMEWORK

In order to make up for the two extension of the holiday, teachers have prepared homework and projects for the students. This has been uploaded on our blog: fakparentsinfo@blogspot.com. Please note that this homework will be used as part of the assessment for the term.
